Ruth sang at our wedding reception on Saturday and she blew us all away with her exceptional talent and incredible voice. Ruth's warmth, confidence and enjoyment shone through and this, along with a brilliant set list, made sure everyone was up and dancing and had the most amazing time! Leading up to the event, Ruth took the time to discuss our ideas and requirements; our guests were a mixture of ages and the set list she produced was perfect, with songs from across the decades that everyone could enjoy. Our guests all commented on how brilliant she was and how much they enjoyed the night. Ruth really made our wedding reception the party that we had hoped for. We feel really lucky to have found her!! She has a great selection of songs from the 50's through to the 80's and produced a playlist in advance, so that our DJ knew what to expect. I would have no hesitation in booking her again. I initially heard about Ruth from a friend of mine who had seen her performing at a pub in East Sussex, he had told me that he'd never heard a woman singing Led Zeppelin or Ac/Dc before and this had really caught his attention in a good way!!! My partner and I had been searching for a singer for our party for such a long while but hadn't had any success.Our friend managed to get Ruth's contact details after seeing her again at a different venue where she was performing a jazz set! We listened to her music online and quite frankly couldn't believe our ears! She sings EVERYTHING!! Ruth was such a professional, she made sure that we were happy with the set lists and even sent us sample set lists to look over. She was punctual and although the party was very large and rather loud it didn't seem to phase her at all. I can't thank Ruth enough for the performance that she gave. From start to finish she had everyone entertained. There were songs for everyone that was there, young and old, she has such a huge vocal range and ability to make the songs sound like her own. Sublime performance as she knew exactly how to set the mood and then build upon that. 90% of my guests made a point of coming up to me and commenting on her voice and appearance. I wanted to make sure that WE did her justice by dancing and appreciating her performance. I know several wanted to book her for their own functions later this year and some next so expect some calls or emails. Ruth went out of her way to move her start time as our meal took longer than expected and we didn't want to eat during her wonder performance.
